第二期アジア言語セミナー【タイ語講座】を開催しました

　アジア諸国との共生を志向する「メイク・ニュー・スタンダード次世代研究事業アジア・環太平洋未来創造分野」では、所属するフェロー・リサーチャーやRESEARDENTの研究や活動の幅を広げることを目的に「アジア言語セミナー」を開催しています。このたび第二期として、タイ語講座を開講しました。

　今回の講座は、前回実施後のアンケート結果を踏まえ、夏季休暇中の8・9月に集中講義形式で実施されました。参加者８名が全１２回にわたって熱心に学び、最終回には、タイ出張より帰国された担当教員・村瀬潤教授よりタイのお土産が手渡されました。出席率が８割を超えた学生には、担当講師より修了証が授与されました。

　「メイク・ニュー・スタンダード次世代研究事業アジア・環太平洋未来創造分野」では、今後も皆さんの関心の高い言語を取り上げて、「アジア言語セミナー」を続けていきます。次回の開催にもぜひご期待ください！

　Under the “Make New Standard Program for the Next Generation Researchers – Creating the Future of Asia and Pan Pacific”, which aims to promote coexistence with Asian countries, we launch the “Asian Language Seminar” to further expand the research and activities of participating Fellows, Researchers and RESEARDENT members.

　As a part of the second phase of the seminar series, a Thai language course was offered this year.

　Based on feedback from the previous course's post-session questionnaire, the course was conducted intensively during the summer break in August and September. Eight participants studied diligently throughout the 12-sessions with great enthusiasm.

　In the final session, Professor Jun Murase, who had just returned from a business trip to Thailand, presented Thai souvenirs. Students with an attendance rate exceeding 80% received certificates of completion from the instructor.

　We will continue to offer the Asian Language Seminar by featuring languages of high interest to participants.
