1月5日・6日の2日間にわたり、プラズマ技術の農業利用と持続可能な社会をテーマにしたセミナーおよびワークショップが開催されました。MNS事業アジア・環太平洋未来創造分野も共催者として参画しました。

初日は、名古屋大学の杉山総長による開会挨拶で幕を明け、続いてプラズマ農学の先進事例について九州大学の白谷教授が、リン資源の持続可能性についてノースカロライナ州立大学のRoss Sozzani教授がそれぞれ基調講演を行いました。パネルディスカッションでは、IRRI（国際稲研究所）や民間企業からのパネリストも交え、技術実装に向けた課題と展望について意見交換がなされました。

午後は低温プラズマ科学研究センターの見学を経て、循環型バイオエコノミーに関するワークショップを実施。研究発表とグループディスカッションを通じて、参加者間での情報共有と共同研究に向けた検討が行われました。

2日目は、持続可能社会への学際的アプローチを軸としたワークショップが開催されました。異分野連携ミーティングや総合討論では、新たな産官学連携の構築に向けた議論が行われ、全プログラムを終了しました。2日間を通して、専門分野の枠を超えた実務的な情報交換の場となりました。

A seminar and workshop focusing on the application of plasma technology in agriculture and the realization of a sustainable society were held over two days, January 5 and 6.　MNS Program / Creating the Future of Asia and Pan Pacific also participated as a co-organizer.

On the first day, the event opened with welcoming remarks by President Sugiyama of Nagoya University. This was followed by keynote lectures: Professor Shiratani of Kyushu University introduced advanced case studies in plasma agriculture, while Professor Ross Sozzani of North Carolina State University spoke on the sustainability of phosphorus resources.During the panel discussion, panelists from the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) and private companies joined the session, engaging in discussions on the challenges and future prospects for implementing these technologies.

In the afternoon, participants toured the Low-Temperature Plasma Science Center, followed by a workshop on the circular bioeconomy. Through research presentations and group discussions, participants shared knowledge and explored possibilities for future collaborative research.

On the second day, a workshop centered on interdisciplinary approaches to achieving a sustainable society was held. Interdisciplinary collaboration meetings and a general discussion session provided opportunities to exchange ideas on building new partnerships among academia, industry, and government.Over the course of the two days, the event served as a valuable platform for practical information exchange that went beyond the boundaries of individual fields.
